I came into this line of work as a result of my own personal life experiences. These included issues around past trauma, personal relationships, addiction, mental health and ultimately navigating my way through life. As a result of continually working through my own personal struggles, I continue to heal old wounds. This helps me to change destructive patterns of thinking and behaviours.
I have worked with people in a professional capacity for 22 years providing therapy, life coaching and various other therapeutic interventions. I support people to make positive changes in their lives.
I am skilled in helping individuals to work through emotional and psychological blocks and in helping people to discover and achieve their full potential.
I am passionate about people and I believe that everybody has the capacity to change their thinking and their behaviour if they really want to.
My Services
I offer a range of interventions and services geared towards helping people to find their own answers to their own questions in a safe and professional manner.
One to One
I provide 1 to 1 sessions aimed at helping you to get a better understanding of yourself, to identify & manage emotions, to develop coping strategies to help you to improve your well-being and support to help you to create the life you desire.
Couples
I work with couples in a supporting role, helping to facilitate difficult conversations and thus opening up the opportunity to rebuild trust and intimacy and to rediscover your love for each other.
Families
I work with family members either in a group or on an individual basis, helping to unpack and work through the issues that cause family dynamics and break down of communication within families, with the goal being to bring you closer together again or indeed to manage separation issues.
Remotely
I offer sessions over the telephone and via Skype or Zoom for people who travel, or for those who struggle with face to face conversations.
Men’s Work
I facilitate work with men who may struggle to identify/understand and to talk about feelings, to work through emotions and to embrace vulnerability. I help men to navigate a healthy masculine balance in how you interact with those around you, in the world and with yourself.
Outdoor Therapy
I offer outdoor sessions which afford the opportunity for walking and talking or for using more focused awareness exercises. We may simply sit in a particular spot or choose a particular route for the session. Outdoor sessions can deepen your awareness and connection with yourself. This in turn often promotes a powerful connection with the outdoors, with nature and ultimately with your own inner world.
